This weekend, Union University will host its Benjamin Britten Centennial Celebration. In addition to interesting lectures and masterclasses, the music department is presenting a production of Noye's Fludde. I am actively involved in many of the festival's activities and am keeping my eyes open for life jackets and life preservers to make sure I don't drown during the Flood! There are lots of interesting insights I have gained while preparing for the festival that I'll be sharing in the weeks to come. In the mean time, send good thoughts and lots of prayers my way. If all goes well, I'll see you again next week when all the flood waters have subsided and I find myself once again with my feet on dry ground.
